Tickets, tickets, tickets! The Crazy Ca$h Night is all about raffles and holding just the right ticket at the right time!

Manchester’s annual Crazy Ca$h event, which is co-sponsored by the Manchester Community Resource Center and the Manchester Community Schools, has been canceled. After being postponed from last fall to Saturday, March 5, 2022, the current COVID trends made the regretful decision a reality.

All ticket money will be refunded and those who donated prizes will be contacted to see if they want them returned. If not, the committee will keep the items until raffle is rescheduled, “which we plan to do when things improve,” said a representative of the school/CRC event.

All ticket purchasers will be contacted for their refund.

Last fall, when the event was postponed, representatives had noted that changing the date from March (when folks were getting income tax returns and had cabin fever) to September — after summer vacations and getting kids ready for school — presented more of a financial challenge for some; resulting in low ticket sales. So the decision was made to return to the original timing of early March.

Despite amazing support from the community with cash and prize donations, COVID seems to be the only winner in this situation. The committee is looking forward to a future event that will be bigger and better than ever.
