The Annual Mens Club Ice Skating Party had beautiful sunny weather! Unlike previous years, where the polar air mass made temperatures bitterly cold or the party had to be postponed multiple times because it was too warm, Sunday’s weather was perfect for ice skating, eating hot dogs, and catching up with friends.

Andy Mahony, Men’s Club president stated, “We had our skate party today; a great time had by all. Club members prepared hot dogs and hot chocolate for everyone. (It was) great to see the kids enjoying themselves. The ice rink will stay open for use as long as weather permits.

“Special thanks to the Village Tap for donating the hot dogs and member Mark Trinkle for all his hard work maintaining the rink! Our next event will be the Easter egg hunt in April.”

The ice rink is located in Wurster Park next to the gazebo and can be used anytime at the skater’s own risk.
