School board makes changes at the top
The Manchester Community Schools’ board of education held a special organizational meeting prior to its regular board meeting last Monday, January 24.
For the coming year, Michael Tindall was elected President, by a vote of 6-1. Ryan Novess was elected Vice-President, Brandon Woods remains Secretary, and Corey Horky, Treasurer.
Tindall, who was elected to the board in 2018, comes to the presidency having served in various leadership capacities in the community over the years, most recently retiring from his role after 17 years as chairman of the Manchester Chicken Broil. He also had served for many years on the Oak Grove Cemetery Board, prior to it being assumed by Manchester Township.
Tindall looks forward to providing strong leadership to the school board for the coming year.
