After last week’s “big snow,” it was obvious that Thursday night’s Tea Towel maker event would need to be rescheduled to accommodate the needs of the leader and attendees. So, this Friday, February 11 at 5 pm, the talented Joy Matthews will bring her Apple Heart tea towel class to Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café.

For only $5 per towel, you can make an adorable tea towel with your very own heart design, perfect for Valentine’s Day gift-giving — or make one for yourself! All materials will be provided. The class is appropriate for all ages. Pre-register at farmersmarket48158@gmail.com with your name and how many would like to attend. All proceeds go right back to Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café!

On Monday, February 14 at 6 pm, master chef Keegan from The Lakehouse Bakery will host a special event, “Chocolate 101,” in which we can all learn more about this holiday favorite! This class is free, but donations to Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café are much appreciated. Pre-register at farmersmarket48158@gmail.com with your name and how many would like to attend.

Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café is also a great place to stock up on delicious locally-made Valentine’s gifts and goodies, so please stop by! The store and café is open seven days a week, from 10 am to 6 pm, inside the Manchester Market at 455 W. Main Street.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
