Manchester District Library (MDL) now offers digital access to The New York Times (NYT) from any computer or device free with a library card. This brand new service provides basic digital access to the current day’s paper and includes email newsletter subscriptions.

Established in 1851, The New York Times daily paper now covers local, national, and international news as well as offering sections devoted to editorials, business, sports, arts and culture, science, style, travel, and more.

To get started, visit https://melstage.tln.lib.mi.us/NYT/manc.html. Patrons will enter their library card number and PIN, then be prompted to either create an account (email address and password) or to log in to an existing account.

Visit the MDL website for more information about NYT Access and other digital collections available with your library card. Patrons can always contact the library for assistance by phone at (734) 428-8045 or by email at manchesterlibraryrequest@gmail.com.

Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources.

Current Manchester District Library hours are Monday-Wednesday 11AM-8PM, Thursday 11AM-7PM, Friday 11AM-6PM, and Saturday 10AM-2PM. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
