Manchester school bands score well at festival

Last weekend, Manchester High School had their first opportunity in two years to again host the MSBOA District 8 band and Orchestra Festival. The High School band performed on Thursday and the 7th/8th grade band performed on Friday. Both bands earned superior 1st division ratings from all three adjudicators. Band director Jared Throneberry posted on social media, “So proud of the Manchester students and families! Let’s keep the positive vibes going forward into the 22-23 school year.”
