WCSO — February 2022 report of police services in the village
During the month of February there were a total of 184 calls for service; 95 traffic stops were made, resulting in 10 citations.
Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during the month include:
On February 22, a collaboration deputy responded to the area of West Main and Elton for a report of an attempted Larceny. An unknown suspect(s) had attempted to gain entry into a coin storage box by drilling out the lock core. The suspect(s) were unable to gain entry due to the lock remaining intact.
Sixteen Ordinance Violations were tagged by deputies in January, 14 of which were snow removal violations. Red tags were issued to 13 of the residents or businesses in question and corrected within the required time limit. One business was issued a citation for snow removal violation. Two violations, on Clinton and Duncan Streets, were for blight vehicles. Those residents were sent letters asking the vehicles be removed or brought into compliance with the village ordinance.
