Local author Elizabeth Hastings visits Manchester District Library Storytime April 19
submitted by Quintessa Gallinat, Manchester District Library
Manchester District Library is thrilled to welcome a very special guest for Family Storytime on Tuesday, April 19: local author Elizabeth Hastings. All ages are welcome to join us at 11:15 a.m. to hear Elizabeth read from her new book, “Roger and Wesley,” and stay afterward for craft time.
Elizabeth lives in Manchester with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She never imagined writing was in her future, at least not until she had her daughter. Roger and Wesley is her first book. It was inspired by her family and their dogs, whom she’s turned into beloved characters children everywhere could enjoy.
The canine main characters, Roger and Wesley, are best friends. They face a predicament one day when they break one of their beloved toys! The story invites readers to tag along with them as they figure out how to repair it while helping others along the way.
No registration is required for this special event on Tuesday, April 19 at 11:15 a.m. A copy of Roger and Wesley is available for checkout at the Manchester District Library, courtesy of the author. The book is also available for purchase from Amazon.
