WCSO — March 2022 report of police services in the village

During the month of March, there were 215 calls for service. During this time 130 traffic stops were made, resulting in 14 citations.
Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during last month include:
On March 7, a Collaboration Deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Parr Street for a report of an identity theft. The victim reported that an unknown suspect was able to hack into her checking account online and withdraw $1,340. The suspect is only known to the victim’s bank as “M. Davenport.” At the time of this report, the actual identity of the suspect is unknown.
On March 14, a Collaboration Deputy was dispatched to the area of Adrian and E. Main for a report of eggs being thrown on the complainant’s vehicle. There was no damage to the vehicle. Photographs of the juveniles were obtained by the complainant; however, no positive ID has been obtained at the time of this report.
On March 18, a Collaboration Deputy was given a “BOL” (be on the lookout) for a possible drunk driver seen leaving a bar in the village. The Deputy was ale to locate the driver and subsequently arrest them for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Ordinance Violations: 11 ordinance violations were investigated by deputies during March. Six of the violations were parking-related and in the Main Street area. All had citations issued. Five violations were regarding blight vehicles. In all cases, red tags were issued to the owners.
