Get ready for Mother’s Day with Acorn’s Outdoor Market

Acorn’s First Thursday Outdoor Farmers’ Markets will kick off this week.

Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café will be hosting a special Outdoor Market right outside Manchester Market, located at 455 W. Main St., every first Thursday, May through October, from 3 to 6pm with fun, family-oriented events. Acorn’s Outdoor Market season will begin on Thursday, May 5, with a special Mother’s Day Tea. Free tea samples from S·TEA·P and free mini scones from Grand River Bakery will be provided. There will also be a lovely variety of gifts for Mom, complete with a free Mother’s Day card make-and-take.

Vendors who plan to attend our special Mother’s Day Market include:

S·TEA·P Specialty Tea Products will have free tea samples and a lovely variety of loose-leaf tea with Michigan-inspired flavors. Samantha will also have infuser baskets, infuser mugs, and gift baskets for sale. Shop over 50+ varieties of tea, including some of her newer blends like Mackinac Island Paradise, Iron Mountain Oolong, Woodward White, Michigan Moonlight, and Lansing Lapsang Souchong.

Grand River Bakery will have free mini scones, available while supplies last. You can purchase a variety of freshly baked items from Grand River Bakery inside Manchester Market.

Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café will host a free Mother’s Day card make-and-take!

Cathy Shaffer will have cookies, rhubarb coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, and assorted breads. Perfect for Mother’s Day breakfast in bed!

Seasoning Solutions will be selling bread mixes, popcorn seasonings, dip mixes, seasonings/rubs, and meal kits. Perfect gifts for Mom or anyone — including yourself!

Hoppy Soaps will have bath bombs, deodorant, chapstick, soap, and more wonderful Mother’s Day gift options!

Hankrajewel American Art will have high-quality, unique metal-sculpted jewelry and wall art. They put lots of love and careful attention into each item and hope you enjoy their art as much as they enjoy bringing it to you and your loved ones.

Smellz so Good will have a lovely variety of candles that “smell so good,“ as well as a new line of bath and body products featuring hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, including serums, lotions, and body sprays — all the things Mom will love!

Taylor Farms will have eggs, pork, beef, whole chickens, chicken wings, and bread.

Anthro Apothecary will have their Herbal Hint flavor shakers as well as a few of their custom teas and natural bath and body products — all perfect gifts for Mom or yourself!

Arnold Johnson will have a variety of beautiful handmade copper trees — a unique gift for a special mom.

SRSLY is still here and they’re excited to be at the market with their Plinko game and prizes, including free apparel and other goodies. They’re looking forward to seeing you there and enjoying this spring weather with you!
