Fairy Festival at Acorn’s outdoor market is this Thursday

Don’t miss this week’s special events at the Acorn Farmers‘ Market & Café Outdoor Market this Thursday, June 2, from 3-6 pm. The highlight of this month’s event is, of course, the Fairy Festival. A variety of special guests are expected, including Dance With Heart Studios, the Adiska Tooth Fairy, Horning Farms‘ “Dairy Godmother,” and more!
Fairy Festival Scheduled Activities:
3 pm: Dance With Heart Studios will share their love of dance.
3:30 pm: The Adiska Tooth Fairy shares tips on keeping those pearly whites pretty for the Tooth Fairy; they will also provide free toothbrushes and special treasure chests to keep your loose teeth safe!
4 pm: Horning Farms‘ Dairy Godmother reads a special story, “Tales of the Dairy Godmother.“
4:15 pm: Fairy Storytime Tea with Anthro Apothecary
4:30 pm: Fairy Dress Up & Crafts
5:15 pm: Fairy Interpretive Dance; Fairy Parade
5:30 pm: Giant stuffed animal drawing brought to you by Manchester Lions Club! Must be present to win.
Fairy Festival activities available from 3-6 pm:
• Alice in Wonderland display made of clay — black light reactive AND glow in the dark — created by Clever Creations by Amy
• FREE fairy dress up — DIY fairy wings, fairy wands, and fairy headbands!
• $1 Fairy house make & take!
• Hide and seek fairies at the vendor booths
And … it’s not just a Fairy Festival — it’s a Dairy Festival in honor of National Celebrate Dairy Month! Horning Farms will have a dairy trivia wheel and special dairy promotion goodies to giveaway!
Don’t forget to stop by at 4 pm to hear special guest Dairy Godmother read Tales of the Dairy Godmother. They will be selling 1 pound cheese pucks: Amish Creamery, Cheddar, Colby, Colby Jack, Monterey Jack, and Pepper Jack.
Not just Fairy and Dairy fun, but also many amazing vendors:
NEW VENDOR Maegen from Wild Cherry Farm will have butterfly kits, bee kits, and native plants.
Professor Pemberton’s Wands & Accoutrements will have wizard wands, handmade leather journals, and more.
Clever Creations by Amy will have everything you to need to make the most amazing fairy garden including fairy doors, mushrooms, gnomes, dragon eggs, and so much more.
Anthro Apothecary will have their Herbal Hint flavor shakers as well as a few of their custom teas and natural bath and body products. Be sure to stop by Michaela‘s booth for Fairy Story Time Tea at 4:15 PM. Free butterfly pea flower tea samples.
Lavender and Grace will have a lovely variety of unique perennials for any garden: six varieties of Lavender, 20 different perennials, flower baskets, and more! They also have dried lavender and a lot of new soaps and lotion bars. Everything lavender and more.
SRSLY will have special giveaway items that were created by a kindness fairy. Stop by their table to grab a part of the magic. SRSLY will also have free Deterra bags to give to those looking for a safe at home prescription medication disposal alternative.
Hoppy Soaps will have bath bombs, deodorant, chapstick, soap, and more to make you feel and smell your “fairy” best.
Taylor Farms will have eggs, pork, beef, whole chickens, chicken wings, and bread.
The Manchester District Library will be promoting their summer reading program and all the many benefits our local library has to offer.
Smellz so Good will have a lovely variety of candles that smell so good as well as a new line of bath and body products featuring hyaluronic acid and vitamin C including serum, lotions, and body sprays. Also, back by popular demand are mosquito and bug spray made with essential oils! These are extremely effective, and safe for your animals too. Citronella candles, car freshies, men’s beard oil, beard balm, and more.
We are all fairy excited to have a Fairy Fun Festival at Acorn’s Outdoor Market located at 455 W. Main St. Join us every 1st Thursday, May through October — right outside Manchester Market.
