Manchester High School new principal announced

Last week Manchester Community Schools announced the hiring of a new Jr./Sr. High School principal.

In a letter to families, MCS superintendent Brad Bezeau stated, “It is with great excitement that we announce the hiring of Ms. Wendy Bridges as the new Principal of Manchester Jr./Sr. High School. Wendy joins us from Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio, where she recently served as Principal. She comes to us with a wealth of administrative and leadership experience, serving as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for The Shepherd Public Schools in Shepherd, Michigan, from 2004–2013; the Assistant Principal in the Meridian Public Schools in Sanford, Michigan, from 2013–2015; the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Kalamazoo Central High School in 2015 and 2016; and the Assistant Principal at Swan Valley High School in Saginaw, Michigan, 2016–2020.“

The letter goes on to invite Manchester community members to a meet and greet on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 6 to 8pm in the Manchester Jr./Sr. High School Commons.

Bridges is replacing current Jr./Sr. High School Principal Andy Rousselo, who filled the position for one school year and replaced Eric McCalla.
