Delores “Hossy” Gebhardt (April 8, 1943 – June 19, 2022)

Delores “Hossy” Gebhardt, 79, of Manchester, passed away June 19, 2022. Delores’s family and friends will gather Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 10am to 11am at Manchester United Methodist Church, 501 Ann Arbor St. Her funeral service will be held following visitation at 11am. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Manchester. Reverend Larry Wik will serve as Celebrant.

Born on April 8, 1943, in Tecumseh, Michigan, to James and Olga (Collinsworth) Cox, Delores married the love of her life, Albert Gebhardt, on February 8, 1964, at Manchester United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a woman who cherished her family and friends. Delores took great pride in her family and loved attending all of her grandchildren’s events. She was always friendly, outgoing, and enjoyed being around people. Delores loved her job as Human Resources Manager at QED Environmental Systems, retiring after many years of service. She was a lifelong Manchester Dutchman and member of Manchester United Methodist Church. One of her cherished memories was taking rides around Wamplers Lake with her late husband, Al, and always listening to her favorite Elvis Presley songs.

Delores will be missed by her children, Julie (Scott) Feldkamp of Saline and Brian (Wendy) Gebhardt of Manchester; sisters, Barbara (Al) Osga, Darlene (Bill) Alber, and Betty (Gerry) Mann; grandchildren, Drew, Gwen, and Neil Gebhardt and Tara (Jake Lenegir) Feldkamp; great-grandson Colton Lenegir; sister-in-law Elaine Creech; and brother-in-law Karl (Katie) Gebhardt. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Al Gebhardt, brother-in-law Jack Creech, and sister-in-law Sharon Gebhardt.
