Road Commission work set in Manchester area

Dust control season is well underway! Next week’s dust control application is scheduled for the following townships: Augusta, Bridgewater, Dexter, Lyndon, Salem, and Scio.

This week’s roadwork in the Manchester area includes various work around Bridgewater, Freedom, and Manchester Townships.

In Bridgewater, dust control application is scheduled for June 20–July 5 on unpaved local roads throughout the township. Motorists traveling on paved county roads should be aware of shoulder work, particularly roadside mowing, from June 20–July 8 throughout Bridgewater Township.

Throughout Freedom Township, expect intermittent lane closures on Waters Road between Rentz and Haab Roads, during the week of June 20. Also, this coming week, affecting both Freedom and Lodi Townships, Parker Road between Pleasant Lake and Scio Church Roads will experience daytime road closures, while Pleasant Lake between Schneider and Ann Arbor-Saline Roads will see intermittent lane closures.

In Manchester Township, there will be intermittent lane closures this week (week of June 20) on Austin Road between the county line and the village limits, and on Sharon Hollow Road between Herman and Austin Roads. Be alert for work happening in this area.
