A workday last weekend helped get construction of the new disc golf course well underway at Chi-Bro Park.

With concrete donated by Gotts Transit Mix, volunteers Jack Rathburn, Frank Mayfield, Mark Dresch, Alec Parker, Mike Ahrens, Garrett Olmstead, and Tom Pierce got to work and poured concrete for all the pads for the new course, designed by Innovagolfer, and the project is on its way to happening! Lunch was provided by the Manchester Men’s Club to the grateful crew.

Pat DuRussel, chair of the Manchester Village Parks Commission, thanks everyone for their help and dedication in making sure things continue to move along. Disc golf aficionados should be playing on the course in Manchester later this summer.

Volunteers pour the concrete pads.

Finishing the pads. A day’s work, well done.
