Summer Reading Finale at Manchester District Library
submitted by Quintessa Gallinat, Manchester District Library
Manchester District Library (MDL) will host a special party on Thursday, July 21, to celebrate the Oceans of Possibilities 2022 Summer Reading Program finale.
Festivities begin at 4:30pm on the back lawn of the Manchester Community Building at 912 City Rd. Guests can enjoy ice cream, music, and a foam tent. The library will be open until 6pm, so stop inside to drop off completed activity logs, receive prizes, and submit last-minute raffle entries. After that, migrate to the lower level of the building for a live animal show at 6pm in the Village Room. Outdoor events are subject to change due to weather conditions; check the MDL Facebook page for updates.
As Summer Reading enters the final week, MDL wants to extend a special thank you to our 2022 program sponsors: Doll n’ Burgers, River Raisin Distillery, Twin Pines Eatery/Stone Mountain Mini Golf, Manchester Community Fair, The Lakehouse Bakery, Acorn Farmers’ Market and Cafe, Manchester Market, and Biggby Coffee — Clinton.
Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources.
Manchester District Library hours are Monday–Wednesday, 10am–8pm, Thursday–Friday, 10am–6pm, and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.
