Library, bike shop join for disc golf program

Disc golf is Manchester’s newest sport! Enjoy a trial session compliments of Sharon Valley Bike Shoppe and Manchester District Library.

On Saturday, August 20, from 10am to 11am, join the staff from Sharon Valley Bicycle Shoppe as they teach you how to play disc golf at the new course in Chi-Bro park.

The Manchester District Library is co-sponsoring this program to help promote the new disc golf course at Chi-Bro Park on Ann Arbor Hill, just north of the M-52/Main Street intersection. Bring your own water and sunscreen; baskets and practice discs will be provided.

Packaged disc sets will be available for sale before and during the event, at the bike shop, 108 E Main St. Three-disc packages range in price from $30 to $35, and contain everything you need to play disc golf! Purchase is not required to participate in this event, which is free and open to the public, all ages.
