This August, Manchester United Methodist Church, located at 501 Ann Arbor St, has been hosting Outdoor Movie Nights. For three weeks, they’ll be showing free family-friendly movies on a big screen in their parking lot, behind the church, next to Klager Elementary. The third and last movie in the series is 20th Century Fox’s The Sandlot (1993), which will screen Friday, August 26, at 9pm (or later, as it gets dark enough). Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair or a blanket, pack some snacks, and invite a friend to come watch.

As a bonus, the worship service on the following Sunday will be themed around that week’s movie as they discover a scriptural lesson in each film.
