WCSO July 2022 report of police services in the village

During the month of July, there were 168 calls for service. During this time, 91 traffic stops were made resulting in five citations.
Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during July include:
On July 20, a Collaboration Deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Duncan for a report of an identity theft. The victim was contacted by her bank and advised that an unknown person had opened a checking account in her name. At the time of this report, there is no suspect information.
On July 25, a Collaboration Deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Main for a report of a larceny. A business owner reported that an employee of his had the nightly deposit stolen from him. The larceny actually occurred out of county; however, the circumstances of why the deposit wasn’t taken to the bank in the first place prompted the investigation.
Deputies investigated 11 ordinance violations in July. All were verbal warnings or red tags for grass and/or weed violations. All violations were corrected in a timely manner.
