MDL Youth Services Librarian Stacia Serafin

On August 30 at 11am, patrons can join Manchester District Library (MDL) Youth Librarian Stacia Serafin at Chi-Bro Park to say farewell as she leaves on the next adventure in her career journey. Miss Stacia will share some of her favorite stories and songs, followed by celebratory cupcake frosting.

Preschool Storytime will return on September 6. Each Tuesday at 11am, MDL will host a special guest reader to share stories from our collection and invite young attendees to explore the new sensory station and other hands-on activities.

Special guest readers will continue throughout the fall while MDL conducts a search to fill the large shoes left by Miss Stacia’s departure. Community members who are interested in volunteering to read at storytime should send an email to Library Director Kathy Dimond at kdimond@manchesterlibrary.info or call (734) 428-8045 to speak with her directly.

The staff at MDL are grateful for the energy and warmth that Miss Stacia contributed to the library over the past 2½ years and wish her the very best!

Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources.
