Gerald E. Haeussler, March 5, 1947 – September 4, 2022

Gerald Edward Haessler, 75, of Manchester passed away September 4, 2022. Jerry’s family and friends will gather Monday, September 12, 2022 from 4–7pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11am with visitation at 10am until time of service at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel. Burial to follow at Denton Cemetery, Denton, Michigan.

He was born on March 5, 1947, in Saline, Michigan to Ralph and Florence (Bohms) Haeussler. Jerry married the love of his life, Lois Shankle, on July 3, 1999 at their home in Manchester. He will be remembered as a loving, hardworking man. Jerry spent his career as a barber by trade and as a greeter for Meijer, for 36 years, where he met Lois. Jerry spent 48 years at Leonard Barbers; 17 of those years he owned with Lois. Jerry had many customers who became friends. Customers came in rough around the edges and left looking dapper thanks to Jerry and his shears. Many children had their first hair cut in Jerry’s chair and have continued the “Jerry” tradition with their own children. Jerry spent 21 proud years in the Army Reserve.

Jerry will be missed by his wife Lois; his children, Cristy (Jeremy) Garrett, Ricky (Kristen) Partin; sister Ellen (Barry) Grossman; 18 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harold Haeussler and William “Bill” Haeussler.

Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation. Please leave a message of comfort for Jerry’s family or sign his guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
