Local bicycle enthusiasts will have the opportunity to win an electric bike on Halloween. What a treat it will be to win!

The Manchester Community Resource Center is raffling off a brand new Beaumont Rev Electric City Bike.  It’s on display at the Sharon Valley Bicycle Shoppe (108 East Main Street) where the drawing will take place at 6:30pm
on October 31. One need not be present to win. All proceeds will be used to support programs and services provided by the CRC.

This popular e-bike retails for $1,500. It has a “step-through” frame for hopping on and off with ease; the swept-back handlebars promote an upright riding position. The integrated 36V/350W battery adds power to the pedals, offering a top speed of 20 mph and a range of up to 37 miles. It recharges within 5 – 6 hours.

Raffle tickets for this Electric City Bike are $10 each and are available at the Manchester CRC and from each of its Board members; Frank’s Place, the River Raisin Distillery, the River Raisin Mercantile, Sharon Valley Bicycle Shoppe and The Tap also have tickets for sale. If fewer than 150 tickets are sold, the raffle will revert to a 50/50 drawing. The minimum cash prize of $100 will be awarded. For more information, contact Laura Seyfried at the CRC, 734-945-5663.
