The Manchester Education Association announced today it is recommending the following candidates for the Manchester Community Schools Board of Education in the Nov. 8 election: Rebecca Harvey, Michael J. Tindall, and Sandra Wiitala.
“Local educators strongly recommend these three candidates because they are committed to providing every Manchester student the opportunity to succeed and treating educators like the professionals we are,” said Leslie Rollins, a teacher at Manchester High School and president of the Manchester Education Association.
All three of the recommended school board candidates were carefully screened and recommended by a committee comprised of Manchester educators.
“Manchester educators look forward to working with these candidates this fall and beyond to strengthen our schools and build a stronger community.”
The Manchester Education Association represents more than 40 educators in Manchester Community Schools and is a local affiliate of the Michigan Education Association.
