Three health education classes at Acorn

Join us at Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café for three amazing health and nutrition classes!
Come learn about the amazing health benefits of common herbs, spices and foods found in your kitchen. From strengthening your immune system to soothing a cough or a cold to aiding digestion, Dr. Nia Aguirre, Naturopathic Doctor and Medicinal Herbalist, will present her “Kitchen Clinic” series highlighting the items sold at Acorn Farmers’ Market and Cafe.
First up on Tuesday, September 13th, 6:30 – 7:30pm, will be “Herbs & Spices.” The following week on Tuesday, September 20th, 6:30 – 7:30pm, will be “Roots & Bulbs.” There will be a small fee of $5 for a “make & take” per class so you can put into practice what you’ve learned. With tomatoes in abundance this time of year, it’s the perfect time to come learn about the many ways you can use tomatoes at home!
Come join us for a FREE Culinary Class all about the versatile tomato on Wednesday, September 14, at 6pm, at Acorn Farmers’ Market & Café.
