Downtown Manchester, 1870 … what mysteries does this photo hold of 150 years in the past?

The Manchester Area Historical Society (MAHS) is hosting a Manchester Haunted Walk on Saturday, October 8 at 7:30pm, led by local actress and playwright Breeda Miller. This walk will feature the spooky side of Manchester history, stopping at several locations around the downtown area.

Tickets are $20 presale or $25 at the door. Tickets are on sale as of Wednesday, September 14. The tour is limited to 25 people. We expect to sell out, so it is wise to purchase tickets early. Tickets can be purchased at Raisin River Mercantile or Worth Repeating during open store hours. This is not recommended for children under 12 due to the nature of the material.

Complimentary refreshments will be provided after the Walk at the MAHS KJ House. The tour starts at the MAHS KJ House at 302 E. Main St., Manchester. The Manchester Area Historical Society is happy to share the eerie side of the village’s history on October 8!

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
