It was a long time coming, and now in just a flash, it’s already been a year that it’s here!

One year ago this week — September 20, 2021 — Manchester welcomed the Manchester Market and in celebration, they are throwing themselves a birthday party on Thursday afternoon.

“Each Thursday, from 4-7pm, we have been doing music and food tastings, that we call Taste and Tunes,” explained Super Perky Pantry owner Ken Heers. “This week we are expanding it a little bit (it will be from 4-8pm this week only) for our one-year anniversary celebration. We’ll be doing a pig roast, and we’ll be offering it up with all the fixings for $12 a plate.”

To sweeten the pot a little bit, the store is doing a promotion that for each $50 you spend between now and Thursday, you will receive one FREE ticket for a plate of pork, potato salad, cole slaw, cornbread, cookies, and more! Kids 11 and under are also served free.

There will also be live music from the SBD band, games, and more … so come on and party along with the rest of Manchester! This is an anniversary worth celebrating in our community. Don’t miss it!

The “SBD Band” (with possibly a few additional members this week) will be featured musicians at the one year anniversary celebration for the Manchester Market.
