Emanuel Church hosting a special piano recital: Two & Four Hands at the Baldwin Grand

Emanuel United Church of Christ, located at 324 W Main St, is presenting a special piano recital at Emanuel: Two & Four Hands at the Baldwin Grand by Kathryn Goodson and Robert Conway on Sunday, October 9, from 3pm to 4:15 pm. There is no fee to attend and it is open to the public.

Robert Conway, a Wayne State Associate Professor, and Kathryn Goodson, a University of Michigan Collaborative Pianist/Coach, will present a narrated program sharing music and stories featuring classics from the two- and four-hand keyboard repertoire. Both pianists have played with multiple area symphony orchestras and have worked together for many years. The program includes pieces by Francis Poulenc, Maurice Ravel (the Mother Goose Suite), Franz Schubert, Paul Hindemith, and Florence Price. The two artists alternate primo and secondo positions at the piano in addition to their solo offerings.
