Celebrating a big win of 7–1 on Thursday, September 29, against Jackson Christian, the boys varsity soccer team debuted their pink jerseys in honor and support of Breast Cancer Awareness! The pink decorations were a big success and a huge thank-you to all who participated.

This is the varsity soccer team’s first of three PINK OUT games scheduled, during which they will finish out their scheduled season before heading into Districts in mid October. Please join us for the upcoming events to support Breast Cancer Awareness as we would welcome community participation to honor survivors and beloved ones we have lost.

The next game is on Tuesday, October 4, at the Manchester Athletic Complex at 7pm. The boys will be facing Lenawee Christian. Please wear pink with the team. Bracelets will be given to the first 50 Manchester supporters! Come sign a luminary bag that will be lit and displayed to honor a beloved breast cancer warrior. Tribute names will be read at halftime with a beautiful display of luminaries. A pink flower presentation will be made by the boys soccer team to their moms immediately following the game.

On Monday, October 10, at the Manchester Athletic Complex at 4pm, the team will face Grass Lake. This will be their Senior Night, with a halftime honoring athletes. Again, please wear pink along with the team.
