After a very successful first year, Manchester’s Witches’ Night Out event is ready to be bigger and better than before!

This year, many downtown businesses and eateries are joining in the fun and will have special activities planned, as well as sales on merchandise. You won’t want to miss this “spooktacular“ night, happening from 5pm to 9pm on Saturday, October 22, right here in Manchester!

At press time, participating businesses include Frank’s Place, which is planning Wizard of Oz–themed cocktails and food specials (as well as a photo-op set-up!); All Thingz Green, who will offer free samples and shopping discounts; River Raisin Antiques, which will also have a photo spot set up, and is offering discounts to shoppers; Millie’s Coffeehouse, which will serve fall specialty drinks, and is holding a drawing for a yoga class; and Worth Repeating, which will have store sales and a performance by the dancing witches—you definitely won’t want to pass by this one!

Head over to the Sassy Peacock, where there will be spooky sales and you can enter to win a $100 gift certificate (with purchase); also you can get press-on nails by Jill VonH from 5pm to 9pm. Sweet Leilani’s Desserts will serve cocktail specials and Halloween-themed desserts, plus will have drawings and a photo spot; Dance With Heart Studio will feature a dance team performance and a line dancing class at 7pm. Jam n Suds Factory is planning karaoke from 5pm to 9pm; and Steelegrafix will be open from 5pm to 8pm with 10% off Halloween shirts and sweatshirts, and a special $5 clearance rack!

There will also be activities in the alley throughout the evening—more photo-op spots, games, and prizes.

Be sure to tune up and wear your best witches’ attire, because there will be a Costume and Cackle Contest at 9pm (in the alley between Comerica Bank and Dance With Heart). You’ll have a chance to win the highly coveted prizes and have plenty of fun in the process.

Head to downtown Manchester this Saturday for a howling good time!
