During the month of September, there were 175 calls for service. During this time, 101 traffic stops were made, resulting in 25 citations.

Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during last month include:

On September 17, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 500 block of Adrian Street for report of a Fraud. The complainant reported that they attempted to purchase a cell phone from someone on Facebook Marketplace, but never received the phone after paying the unknown suspect $300 for it. The suspect’s identity is currently being verified at the time of this report to seek charges for Fraud/Larceny by Conversion.

On September 27, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 700 block of Granger Street for a report of a Fraud. The complainant reported that they contracted with a roofing company to complete work on their home. A check was given to the contractor as a down payment for the work to be completed, but since then the contractor has disappeared. Efforts are ongoing to identify the contractor, who is apparently working out of Ohio, for charges of Fraud/Larceny by Conversion.

Collaboration Deputies also investigated three ordinance violations in September, all for grass. Violations were all corrected on Clarkston Ln, W Duncan St, and Riverside Dr.
