As we continue to “Rebuild the Wheel” in the MCS, we honor and recognize our unbelievable MCS Buildings and Grounds Department throughout the month of October 2022! We recognized them at the Monday, October 17, 2022, Manchester Community Schools Regular Board of Education Meeting. The team includes:
Bryan Houttekier — Director Buildings and Grounds building
Dorin Smith — Maintenance Buildings and Grounds building
Gordon McCalla — Maintenance and Custodial Buildings and Grounds building and Manchester Jr./Sr. High School
Doug Sexton — Maintenance and Custodial BG building
Renee Brennan — Custodial Manchester Jr./Sr. High School
Kellie Hartmann — Custodial JSHS
Joan Rambo — Custodial JSHS
Jason Keith — Custodial Riverside Intermediate School
Beth Young — Custodial Riverside Intermediate School
Linda Moore — Custodial Luther C. Klager Elementary
Sarah Ostrum — Custodial KLGR
Wesley Parks — Custodial JSHS (Student)
Connor O’Brien — Custodial JSHS (Student)
It has been a fantastic addition during the past two years to have students work with our team. Also, our team has been incredible in addressing the myriad needs throughout each of our buildings during a nationwide staffing shortage. Finally, the Buildings and Grounds team was critical in the replacement of the fixture and faucet project at Klager Elementary and Manchester Jr./Sr. High School.
