The winning entry in last year’s lighted parade contest was the Washtenaw County Road Commission!

The Manchester Christmas in the Village Lighted Parade is scheduled this year for Friday, December 2, kicking off the 2022 Christmas in the Village event.

Organizations, teams, businesses, and individuals are invited to light up their vehicles, their animals, or a float, or to gather a group to walk the parade route. To participate, line up at 6pm at Emanuel Church, located at 324 W Main St, in the parking lot located behind the church. The parade begins at 6:30 and runs east along Main Street, ending at the Manchester Mill. There will be a cash prize for best in show!

Organizers are greatly in need of volunteers to put up and take down barriers as well as for a variety of other tasks. If you can help with the parade or any Christmas in the Village activity, email Kim Strickland at kstricklk@gmail.com .
