First-graders sing a special song in the library for their grandparents before the festivities ended.

Klager Elementary School students invited their grandparents (and some great-grandparents, too!) for a brunch and celebration last Wednesday.

Guests got a glimpse of a typical school day in their grandchild’s classroom, got a photo taken with their Klager kid, played games, were served breakfast of their choice at Klager’s Epic Eatery, and visited with kids in the classrooms for comparisons between “old time“ school and how things are done today.

The grande finale of the morning’s events was a special song sung by each grade level in the library.

The day provided a great time of connection between Manchester’s generations at this family-oriented time of year. Thanks to the Klager staff and administration for arranging such a fun time for everyone.
