Fletcher Rd closed for culvert replacement, Burmeister Rd back open

On Monday, December 19, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Fletcher Rd between Waters and Scio Church Roads in Freedom and Lima Townships to replace a culvert. The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions. Local traffic, including that of residents who live or work within the project limits, will be provided access during construction. However, NO traffic will be permitted to cross the culvert location during construction.

Washtenaw County Road Commission also announced on Friday that Burmeister Rd between McCollum Rd and Kaiser Rd in Bridgewater Township, which had been closed by Enbridge Energy for pipeline maintenance since November 30, is back open.
