Do you struggle with chronic pain? The reason for the pain is different for everyone, but it still hurts and affects your everyday life. If you live with chronic pain or care for someone who has chronic pain, consider taking a Chronic Pain PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) virtual workshop. Offered by the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan (NKFM) at no cost to participants, the six-week workshop features a certified facilitator working with a small group to explore skills and tools to help people become more successful at managing pain and leading healthier, more enjoyable lives. Session topics include myths about pain, techniques to combat symptoms, working effectively with family and health care providers, and more.
