Manchester District Library Director Kathleen Dimond said, “It was a nice surprise on Valentine’s Day to have The Library Network (TLN) visit our library and bring book bags and pens!“

TLN’s Steven K. Bowers, Executive Director, and DJ Bond, Member Engagement Coordinator, enjoyed making their rounds as they made connections with people at TLN libraries in the surrounding area. As they toured the Library and Village Office building, they interacted with staff and patrons and described the role of TLN, as well as ideas to collaborate on future library events.

TLN is responsible for coordinating book orders and the sharing of interlibrary loans between member libraries and the shared library system. Each year, more than 3 million items are transported by TLN.

The Library Network is a library cooperative serving 75 libraries in Southeastern Michigan.
