On Friday, March 3, nine Manchester High School Wrestlers will make the journey to Ford Field to leave it all on the mat and hopefully reach the pinnacle of success for the high school wrestling season. They will take with them friends, family, die-hard wrestling fans, and the best wishes of their community, including the staff of the Manchester Mirror. Each wrestler has their own story and each has worked diligently to get to this point in the season, and reaching this point is a credit to each individual wrestler as well as the team and the coach that has nurtured them.

The photos that follow were taken last weekend at State Team Finals in Kalamazoo, by high school junior, Emma Woods, whose older brother, Ethan, and dad Jason, both traveled this road to state competition. We thank Emma for her dedication to this project, despite some pretty difficult weather circumstances.
