Obituary: Ray Therman Ebersole

Ray T. Ebersole

Ray Therman Ebersole, 87, of Manchester passed away peacefully at the home of his son Mickey (Elaina) Ebersole in Ypsilanti on Monday, March 6, 2023.

Ray worked at Double A Products in Manchester in the 1960s and ’70s and then became self-employed when he started his own excavating business. Ray liked fishing and tinkering with his tractors around his home and watching old westerns.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora (Kothe) Ebersole in 2005; his parents, Monroe and Hattie (Knickerbocker) Eversole; and four brothers and five sisters. Ray is survived by all six of his children, Tim (Sue – deceased) Ebersole, Pam (Doug) Maitland, Terry Ebersole, Mickey (Elaina) Ebersole, Joe Ebersole, and Roy (Lillian) Ebersole. Ray is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
