Obituary: Rex Eugene Spiegelberg

Rex Spiegelberg  (October 22, 1961 – April 7, 2023)

Rex Eugene Spiegelberg, 61, of Manchester, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, after a brief illness. Rex’s family and friends will gather Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10am to 11am at Sharon United Methodist Church, 19980 Pleasant Lake Road, Manchester. His funeral service will be held following visitation at 11am. Pastor Tom Waller will serve as celebrant. Burial of Ashes to follow at Rowes Corner Cemetery.

He was born on October 22, 1961, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Leonard and Mary (Alder) Spiegelberg. He will be remembered as a loving brother and loyal friend. Rex was always there for his friends. In his youth, Rex was involved with 4-H in leathercrafts and horses. Rex loved riding his Harley, usually around town or on a toy run from time to time. He rode to Sturgis, South Dakota, for the annual bike rally one year. Rex liked to spend time outdoors, hunting or fishing, especially ice fishing.

Rex will be missed by his sister Teresa Spiegelberg, his friends, and many cousins and aunts. He is preceded in death by his sister Dawn and his parents. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sharon United Methodist Church or to the family for future designation.
