submitted by Brad Bezeau, Manchester Community Schools superintendent

Our school district is a focal point of our community, and we strive to provide exemplary programs and opportunities to meet the needs of our students and community. A strong and vibrant school system is important to community success. As Manchester Community Schools continue to look to the future of educating our community’s children, it’s important to understand how our facilities will continue to provide for the future.

To plan accordingly and be good stewards of these public facilities, we are evaluating all school buildings and sites to provide both a snapshot in time and a look forward to the district’s anticipated needs. Our goal is to have a complete overview of our current and projected needs, which will allow the district to continue to plan effectively and efficiently to manage these great resources.

We have shared this survey with the Manchester Community Schools Staff and all of our MCS Parents and Guardians, and now we are sharing it with our greater Manchester-area community. This is your opportunity to help us in this process.

Please take 7–10 minutes to complete the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/MCSsurvey23. This survey closes on Wednesday, April 12, at 11:45pm. Your input is valued and an important part of the process. Also, consider joining us for our Manchester Community Schools Community Forum on Thursday, April 20, 2023, beginning at 6pm in the Manchester Jr./Sr. High School Media Center as we review the results of the survey and community input and examine the district-wide needs assessment and input.

Thank you for your time and help in planning the future of Manchester Community Schools.
