Worth Repeating reaches a $75,000 milestone
submitted by Pat Sahakian, Worth Repeating
In April, Worth Repeating arrived at a new benchmark: the store has made donations totaling more than $75,000 back to the Manchester community, simply by selling items that have been donated to them.
Since the start of our operations in March 2020, we have helped more than 49 community nonprofits, community school projects, the library, and the village parks with grants from profits made at our charity resale shop. Worth Repeating invites the community to share our $75,000 celebration on May 6.
We will have free cake for our shoppers. We will give each customer a 75% discount on one item purchased in the store on Saturday, May 6, from 10am until 2pm, as a thank you to all who have helped make this possible.
Worth Repeating is Manchester’s charity resale shop. It is completely run by volunteers and stocked with merchandise donated by the community. Our hours are Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 2pm, and Thursday from 2 to 6pm. We always welcome donations of salable goods and clothing during open store hours.
Worth Repeating appreciates the generosity of our shoppers and donors, along with the efforts of our volunteers as we all work to make our caring community even greater. Come and celebrate with us on Saturday, May 6.
