WCSO: April 2023 report of police services in the village

During the month of April 2023 there were 140 calls for service. During this time there were 81 traffic stops made, resulting in 39 citations.
Noteworthy events in Manchester Village during the month of April include:
On April 1, a Collaboration Deputy responded to the 400 block of W Main for a Retail Fraud. The complainant reported that an unknown customer exchanged an empty propane tank for a full tank and failed to pay for it prior to leaving the business. At this time, it is unknown who the suspect was who stole the propane. None of the employees recognized the suspect and there wasn’t surveillance footage available to capture his face.
Collaboration Deputies investigated four ordinance violations during April. Two vehicles were red tagged; one in the 500 block of Clarkson Ln, and one in the 200 block of N Union. In the 500 block of Territorial, a letter was sent regarding blight vehicles. A parking citation was issued in the 100 block of Hibbard St.
