PopUp Food Pantry returning to Freedom Township

As part of a joint effort with Food Gatherers and Aid in Milan, and using state funding, the Community Resource Center (CRC) is bringing food to Freedom Township residents who aren’t able to visit stores or the food pantry regularly. The CRC will be holding their next PopUp Food Pantry series on three Thursdays this summer, June 22nd, July 20th, and August 17th in the Freedom Township Township Hall parking lot,  located at 11508 E Pleasant Lake Rd from 11am to 1pm on each of those days. There is no income requirement, the only requirement is for people to indicate their need for food upon arrival. Questions or to place an order to pick-up at the PopUp Food Pantry? Call 734-428-7722 by the Wednesday before. The CRC would like feedback on what time of day works best for the PopUp Pantries to better serve people when scheduling the PopUp Pantries in the fall.
