Manchester Township seeking resident for land preservation committee

The Manchester Township Board of Trustees is seeking one resident to be on a land preservation committee with members of the Township Board and Planning Commission to research options to preserve agricultural and natural resource lands, and our rural character. The committee will work to identify options for preserving these lands to propose to the Township Board and Planning Commission. This committee is expected to be active for up to two years and will initially meet about once per month. This is a volunteer position. No experience is necessary, other than a genuine interest in preserving the township’s rural character. Relevant experience will be considered. Please submit a resume and letter expressing your interest to Manchester Township Clerk Danell Proctor at mtwp_clerk@sbcglobal.net by 5 pm on August 1, 2023.
