The long-running free outdoor Gazebo Concert series had no organizer this spring but has been picked up by the Manchester District Library. Every Thursday evening this summer starting at 7pm, bring chairs or a blanket to sit on to Wurster Park and enjoy.

Kicking off this summer’s concert series is John Louis Good & the Rose City Troubadours, this Thursday, July 20, at 7pm.

John Louis is from just next door, Jackson “Rose City,” Michigan, which is where his band gets their name. They are a rockabilly/Americana band performing popular music that straddles the 20th century and original works. Good’s influences include Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, and Carl Perkins.

Next week’s gazebo concert will feature Billy King and Kristen Uthus on July 27, followed by Kenji and Tim on August 3, (no concert on August 10 for Fair Week), paula d on August 17, and Amy Eff on August 24.

Funding for the gazebo concerts this summer is being provided by Worth Repeating. Thank you Manchester District Library and Worth Repeating for returning this beloved Manchester summer activity!
