On Wednesday, August 16, from 5:30 to 6:30pm, Chelsea Hospital is hosting a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training in the Manchester District Library Village Room, located at 912 City Rd (lower level).

This suicide prevention training teaches participants how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. This training is free for people 14 years and older. If you have any questions, please email anna.webber@trinity-health.org.

This course is recommended for faith communities, health care staff, school staff, first responders, parents, grandparents, caregivers, community members, and anyone over 14.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
