from Washtenaw County Conservation District

Washtenaw County Conservation District (WCCD), with the help of EMU students, will be offering free well-water testing on October 7 from 9am to 3pm at the WCCD office located at 705 N Zeeb Rd, Room 2304, in Ann Arbor. Be sure to read the sample-taking instructions located at https://www.washtenawcd.org/wellwatertesting.html as the test is only as reliable as the sample collected.

Bring your water sample and sample information sheet to the WCCD office to be tested for nitrates and nitrites. Samples must be less than 48 hours old for a laid nitrate test. You do not need a special bottle for this; any clean jar with a lid will work. Contact Paul Buzzard at (313) 282-0786 with any questions.

This service is meant for well water only. Please do not bring village water as it is tested regularly.
