Reminder and update on MCS Bond Renewal Community Forums

Manchester Community School’s (MCS) superintendent Dr. Brad Bezeau would like to remind the community of the upcoming Bond Renewal Community Forums. These are taking place next Tuesday, September 19, 2023, beginning at 6pm in the Luther C. Klager Elementary School Media Center and on Thursday, September 28, 2023, beginning at 6pm in the Manchester Jr./Sr. High School Media Center.

He would also like to highlight the bond projects beyond the major focus area of “Warm, Safe, and Dry!” and instead extend into the areas of modernizing our school buildings, particularly at Luther C. Klager Elementary School and Riverside Intermediate School. The bond will pay for needed classroom renovations at these two buildings, including new furnishings, carpeting, paint, and lighting to update and modernize the learning environments for these students. He added, “The modernization of our learning spaces will support our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) focus throughout the district with a renovation of our STEAM Wing and Lab Spaces at Manchester Jr./Sr. High School and updating our Media Centers at Luther C. Klager Elementary and Riverside Intermediate Schools to equip our students with the ‘Next Generation’ spaces and learning environments to be able to work collaboratively and with technology in their education and in their lives.”
