Author Talk with Michigan’s own John Marks (photos)

The Manchester District Library Adult Book Club hosted a special event with Michigan author John Marks on Wednesday, September 20. Club and community members came out to hear Marks talk about his life and writing process. Marks also read an excerpt from his most recent book, Rail Against Injustice, which takes place near Watersmeet on the western edge of the Upper Peninsula and incorporates rich local details like the Paulding Light mystery. Marks is currently working on his fourth book, a mystery set in Tennessee.
