Come donate your gently used books to the Friends of the Library Book Sale on Saturday, October 14, between 10am and noon in the Village Room of the Community Building at 912 City Rd; proceeds benefit the Manchester District Library (MDL). Popular fiction and nonfiction books for all ages in good condition are welcome. Parking is available in the back lot where entry to the Village Room is easiest. Please leave donations with a volunteer; items left outside the building cannot be accepted.

Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the MDL. Questions? Call (734) 428-8045. The Manchester District Library (MDL) is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the lower level Village Council Chambers. Members of the public are welcome to attend. MDL is located at 912 City Rd. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm; Friday, 10am–6pm; and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
